Tanzania loves the sport of soccer, and ISF is partnering with a family-style orphanage, Mavuno Village, to bring a soccer clinic to the community of Kitongosima, Tanzania. The clinic will be for children ages 6-18. We will teach all skill sets from beginner to advanced players. During the five-day clinic, we will host three separate skills workshops each day, and host a tournament on the last day. While one group hosts the soccer clinic, another will host a Bible clinic. During bible time, our group will share the truth of the gospel with a group of diverse students. Some have great knowledge of the scriptures, while other have little to none. Translators will be available at all times.

What to Expect

You can expect to serve in a beautiful setting on Lake Victoria with a ministry that is transforming the community through the power of Jesus. Amazing experiences such as eating traditional Tanzanian foods in the village, and going to Serengeti National Park are the extras that make this trip life-changing. We will stay in concrete homes with full bathrooms in Mavuno Village, but you also will be immersed in the traditional African bush.
